Basketball Recap: Foundation Academy Starts Season with Loss at Home

Foundation Academy unfortunately couldn't capitalize on their home-court advantage in their season opener. They lost 86-65 to the Legacy Charter Eagles on Thursday. The Lions were down 64-43 at the end of the third quarter, which was just too much to recover from.

Foundation Academy lost despite a true team effort on offense. The best among them was Lincoln Farnworth, who shot 63% from the field en route to 11 points. The team also got some help courtesy of Dj Jacques, who posted eight points.

Legacy Charter has started the season off flawlessly and has a 2-0 record to show for it.

Foundation Academy wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next contest, a 59-57 loss against Altamonte Christian on the 21st. As for Legacy Charter, they will face off against East River at 2:15 p.m. on Wednesday.
