Volleyball Recap: Franklin's Victory on Thursday Extends Winning Streak to Three

Franklin had already won two in a row and they went ahead and made it three on Thursday. Everything went their way against the Brevard Blue Devils as they made off with a 3-0 win. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 3-1 back in August.

Franklin never let Brevard on the board, but things got pretty close in the third set. The match finished with set scores of 25-21, 25-21, 26-24.

Ella Raby paced Franklin's offense, picking up ten kills. Raby got some help from Bristol Brooks and her 16 assists. Finley Moffitt controlled things from the service line, finishing with five aces.

When it comes to explaining why Brevard lost, don't look at Addison Worley. Despite the final result, she had ten digs and four assists. Worley has been hot for a while, having posted ten or more digs the last 11 times she's played.

Franklin's victory bumped their record up to 16-2. As for Brevard, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost three of their last four games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 8-6 record this season.

Franklin wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next matchup, a 3-0 win against Murphy on the 22nd. As for Brevard, they have also already played their next contest, a 2-0 victory against Enka on the 19th.
