Willis piles up the points against Nimitz

Recap: Willis Wildkats vs. Nimitz Cougars
It can be hard to translate regular season success to the playoffs, but the Willis Wildkats had no problem doing just that on Friday. They breezed by Nimitz on the road to the tune of 62-34. The victory was just business as usual for Willis, who after 11 games remain undefeated this season.
Derek Lagway continued his habit of posting crazy stat lines, rushing for 121 yards and three touchdowns on only ten carries, while also throwing for 286 yards and three touchdowns. Lagway has been hot recently, having posted three or more passing touchdowns the last nine times he's played. Another player making a difference was Daylion Robinson, who gained 82 total yards and three touchdowns.
Willis' win bumped their record up to 12-0. As for Nimitz, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 8-3.
Willis will be playing at home against Tomball Memorial at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Tomball Memorial is looking to tack on another W to their three-game streak on the road. Nimitz does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
