Volleyball Recap: St. Marys Starts Season with Loss on the Road

St. Marys kicked off their season on the road on Saturday and hit a couple of potholes. They fell 2-0 to the Wabaunsee Chargers. The Bears were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Chargers apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in September of 2023.

St. Marys may have fallen short, but they were sure consistent: they scored 12 points in every single set they played. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-12, 25-12.

St. Marys has already played their next contest (against Centralia), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. As for Wabaunsee, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 2-0 loss against Rock Creek on the 30th.
