Basketball Game Preview: California Grizzlies vs. Evergreen Valley Cougars + How To Watch

Having just played yesterday, the California Grizzlies will jump right back in to play the Evergreen Valley Cougars at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday. One thing working in California's favor is that they have posted at least 55 points every time they've taken the court this season.

California not only won on Wednesday, but they posted their biggest win since December 5, 2024 (when they won 61-25). They blew past Leland 71-37.

California's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Brayde Kuykendall, who posted 20 points. The matchup was Kuykendall's fifth in a row with at least 16 points. Jaiden Jones was another key player, putting up 15 points.

Meanwhile, Evergreen Valley ended up a good deal behind Leland on Tuesday and lost 63-45. The contest marked the Cougars' lowest-scoring game so far this season.

California now has a winning record of 3-2. As for Evergreen Valley, their loss was their first of the season and makes their record 5-1.
