Volleyball Recap: Stewarts Creek Comes Up Short

Stewarts Creek lost against Warren County two weeks ago and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Monday. The Red Hawks fell just short of the Pioneers & Lady Pioneers by a score of 3-2.

Rayne White paced Stewarts Creek's offense, picking up 11 kills. White got some help from Kaitlyn Viriyapong and her 26 assists. Viriyapong was also solid from the service line: she led the team with four aces.

Stewarts Creek has traveled a rocky road recently, having lost six of their last seven matches. That's put a noticeable dent in their 9-15 record this season. As for Warren County, the victory (which was their seventh in a row) raised their record to 16-8.

Stewarts Creek does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Warren County, they didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 3-0 defeat against Lebanon on the 7th.
