Baseball Game Preview: Linfield Christian Lions vs. Arrowhead Christian Eagles

For the second straight game, Linfield Christian will face off against Arrowhead Christian. The Lions will venture away from home to take on the Eagles at 3:30 p.m. on Thursday. Linfield Christian's pitching crew has only allowed three runs per game this season, so Arrowhead Christian's hitters will have their work cut out for them.

Linfield Christian is probably headed into the match with a chip on their shoulder considering Arrowhead Christian just ended the team's four-game winning streak on Tuesday. They fell 5-2 to the Eagles.

Noah Getz was a force to be reckoned with on the mound despite the final result: he tossed five innings while giving up just one earned (and three unearned) runs off four hits. He has been nothing but reliable: he hasn't given up more than two walks in six consecutive appearances.
