Football Recap: Des Lacs-Burlington Falls Short Against Ranked Bottineau

Des Lacs-Burlington faced Bottineau in a battle between two of the state's top teams on Friday. The Lakers took a 31-16 bruising from the Braves/Stars. The Lakers were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Braves/Stars apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in August of 2020.

Des Lacs-Burlington's loss dropped their record down to 5-2. As for Bottineau, the win was the third in a row for them, bringing their record up to 6-1.

We've got plenty of inter-district action coming up soon. Des Lacs-Burlington will take on rival Ray/Powers Lake on Friday. Meanwhile, Bottineau is set to challenge their familiar foe Stanley on Friday.
