Baseball Recap: Desert Hot Springs Comes Up Short

Thursday just wasn't the day for Desert Hot Springs's offense. They lost 10-0 to the Banning Broncos on Thursday. The Golden Eagles haven't had much luck with the Broncos recently, as the team has come up short the last eight times they've met.

Desert Hot Springs' loss dropped their record down to 5-9. As for Banning, the win (which was their 12th in a row) raised their record to 13-2.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Desert Hot Springs will welcome Perris at 5:00 p.m. on Monday. The Golden Eagles are facing the Panthers at the right time seeing as the Panthers are stuck on a six-game losing streak. As for Banning, they will host Cathedral City at 3:30 p.m. on Monday.
