Volleyball Recap: Easley Takes a Loss

Easley lost against Daniel on Saturday, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Saturday. The Green Wave fell just short of the Lions by a score of 2-1.

In an exciting match in which no team claimed back-to-back wins, Easley sadly wound up on the wrong side. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-23, 27-29, 15-9.

Claire Bivens paced Easley's offense, picking up 13 kills. Bivens got some help from Madison Davis and her 12 assists. Davis was also solid from the service line: she led the team with two aces.

Easley's loss dropped their record down to 6-4. As for Daniel, the victory (which was their fourth in a row) raised their record to 4-1.

Easley didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 2-0 win against Socastee on the 23rd. As for Daniel, they will challenge Liberty at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
