Basketball Game Preview: Midlothian Trojans vs. Monacan Chiefs

Midlothian and Monacan are an even 5-5 against one another since January of 2020, but not for long. The Midlothian Trojans will challenge the Monacan Chiefs at 7:30 p.m. on Wednesday. Midlothian is coming into the game on a three-game losing streak.

Midlothian is headed into the matchup having just suffered their biggest defeat since January 13th on Monday. They lost 71-49 to Monacan. While losing is never fun, the Trojans can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Virginia basketball rankings (they are ranked 284th, while the Chiefs are ranked 68th).

Midlothian's loss dropped their record down to 2-13. As for Monacan, their victory ended a three-game drought on the road and puts them at 12-4.
