Tumwater won against Black Hills on Wednesday with ten runs and they decided to stick to that run total again on Thursday. The Thunderbirds didn't even let the Wolves on the board, marking the Thunderbirds' second-straight 10-0 shutout. Considering the Thunderbirds have won four contests by more than eight runs this season, Thursday's blowout was nothing new.

Tumwater pushed their record up to 6-3 with the win, which was their third straight at home. Those home victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 1.3 runs on average over those games. As for Black Hills, they are on a nine-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-8.

Coming up, Tumwater will face off against Olympia at 4:30 p.m. on Friday. The Thunderbirds' pitchers better be ready for this one: the Bears have averaged an impressive 8.5 runs per game this season.
