Basketball Recap: Woodrow Wilson Comes Up Short

Woodrow Wilson was not able to break out of their rough patch on Wednesday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They were five points away from ending the streak, but they lost a 55-50 heartbreaker at the hands of the Lakewood Lancers. The Bruins were not able to repeat the success they had when they faced the Lancers earlier this season, when they won 70-69.

Woodrow Wilson's defeat dropped their record down to 9-16. As for Lakewood, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 14-11.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Woodrow Wilson will head out to challenge Cabrillo at 7:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Lakewood, they will venture away from home to square off against Compton at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
