Baseball Recap: Yucaipa Thunderbirds vs. Redlands East Valley Wildcats

For some reason, the away team has come away with the win the last six times Yucaipa and Redlands East Valley have met, but the home crowd finally got their W on Thursday. The Thunderbirds fell 14-11 to the Wildcats. Unfortunately, that's the third time they've come up short against the Wildcats this season, with their most recent loss being a 4-3 defeat on Tuesday.

Logan Pashman was a force to be reckoned with on the mound despite the final result: he tossed five innings while giving up just two earned (and one unearned) runs off four hits. That's the fewest hits he has allowed since back in March.
