Volleyball Recap: Antioch Comes Up Short + How To Watch

Antioch was the 2-0 winner over Waukegan when they last played one another back in September of 2024, but their luck changed this time around. The Sequoits fell just short of the Bulldogs by a score of 2-1 on Monday.

In a back-and-forth that saw neither team win consecutive sets, Antioch sadly dropped the once that decided the match. The match finished with set scores of 25-20, 20-25, 25-19.

Antioch's defeat was their fifth straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 4-8. As for Waukegan, the win was the fourth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 6-5.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Antioch will face off against Wauconda at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Waukegan, they will venture away from home to face off against Lake Zurich at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
