Basketball Game Preview: West Noble Chargers vs. Fremont Eagles

The West Noble Chargers will head out to take on the Fremont Eagles at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Both teams took a loss in their last game, so they'll have plenty of motivation to get the 'W'.

Last Wednesday, West Noble came up short against Garrett and fell 57-49. While losing is never fun, the Chargers can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Indiana basketball rankings (they are ranked 321st, while the Railroaders are ranked 131st).

Meanwhile, Fremont was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their ninth straight defeat. They were outmatched by Lakeland and fell 65-26. The match marked the Eagles' lowest-scoring contest so far this season.

West Noble's loss dropped their record down to 5-7. As for Fremont, their defeat dropped their record down to 2-11.

West Noble and Fremont were neck-and-neck when the teams last played back in January of 2024, but West Noble came up empty-handed after a 55-54 loss. Can West Noble avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
