Basketball Recap: Jordan-Matthews Comes Up Short + How To Watch

Jordan-Matthews played a tough game on Thursday in which they were outscored in every quarter. They were beaten by the Lee County Yellow Jackets 75-44. The loss continues a trend for the Jets in their meetings with the Yellow Jackets: they've now lost six in a row.

Despite the defeat, Jordan-Matthews saw an underclassman step up: sophomore Nolan Mitchell posted 15 points along with five boards and three steals. Mitchell is on a roll when it comes to steals, as he's now grabbed two or more in each of the last three games he's played dating back to last season. Another player making a difference was Kamarie Hadley, who put up eight points in addition to five rebounds and three steals.

Nick Farrow had a dynamite game For Lee County., dropping a double-double with 18 points and 15 boards. Those 15 rebounds gave Farrow a new career-high. The team also got some help courtesy of DJ Brown, who went 7-for-12 to rack up 17 points.

Jordan-Matthews now has a losing record of 1-2. As for Lee County, they now have a winning record of 2-1.

Looking ahead, Jordan-Matthews will face off against Southern Lee at 8:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Lee County, they will have some time to savor their victory since their next game is a little ways off: they'll take on Triton at 7:30 p.m. on December 12.
