It can be hard to translate regular season success to the playoffs, but Hayden had no problem doing just that on Friday. They walked away with a 2-0 win over the Buhler Crusaders. Winning may never get old, but the Wildcats sure are getting used to it with their fifth in a row.

Hayden easily took the second set, but they let things get interesting in the other. The final score came out to 25-20, 25-13.

Hailey Schmidtlein paced Hayden's offense, picking up 12 kills. Schmidtlein got some help from Blakely Walter and her 18 assists. Mallory Tanking and Sophia Wichman kept things locked in from the service line: the pair finished with two aces apiece.

Hayden's victory bumped their record up to 30-9. As for Buhler, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 15-25.

Hayden didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 2-0 win against McPherson on the 31st. Buhler does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
