Girard's 16-8 record from last season is now well into the rear view mirror after another tough outing. They fell to Hubbard 52-46.
South Range posted their biggest win yet this season on Tuesday. They breezed by McKinley at home to the tune of 71-36. Given South Range's advantage in MaxPreps' Ohio basketball rankings (they are ranked 230th, while McKinley is ranked 716th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.
Girard's defeat was their fifth straight on the road, which bumped their record down to 0-11. As for South Range, they are on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four matches, which provided a nice bump to their 7-4 record this season.
