Softball Recap: Kenwood Takes a Loss

Kenwood was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their 20th straight defeat dating back to last season. They lost 15-0 to the Todd County Central Rebels. If the Knights were looking for revenge after losing 1-0 to the Rebels when the teams met back in March of 2022, then they'll just have to keep looking.

Kenwood's loss dropped their record down to 0-8. As for Todd County Central, the win was the third in a row for them, bringing their record up to 3-1.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Kenwood will take on Houston County at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. Kenwood's pitchers better be ready for this one: Houston County has averaged an impressive 7 runs per game this season. As for Todd County Central, they will square off against Hopkins County Central at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
