Basketball Game Preview: Palm Beach Gardens Gators vs. Jupiter Warriors

Palm Beach Gardens is 0-10 against Jupiter since February of 2018 but things could change on Monday. Both will round out the year against one another at at 7:15 p.m. Palm Beach Gardens knows how to get points on the board -- the squad has finished with 55 points or more in their past five games -- so hopefully Jupiter likes a good challenge.

Palm Beach Gardens picked up another tournament win on Saturday. They narrowly escaped with a victory as the team sidled past Calusa Prep 59-57.

Meanwhile, Jupiter had already won two in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 20 points) and they went ahead and made it three on Saturday. They came out on top against the Clippers by a score of 59-48. Given the Warriors' advantage in MaxPreps' basketball rankings in their respective home states (they are ranked 93rd in Florida, while the Clippers are ranked 217th in New York), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Palm Beach Gardens' win bumped their record up to 9-3. As for Jupiter, their victory bumped their record up to 10-1.

Palm Beach Gardens might still be hurting after the 51-31 loss they got from Jupiter when the teams last played on December 6th. Can Palm Beach Gardens avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
