The Ada Cougars entered their tilt with the Destiny Christian Wildcats with two consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with three. Ada came out on top in a nail-biter against Destiny Christian on Friday and snuck past 41-39. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest win Ada has posted yet this season.
Ada had a senior duo take command as Devon Maccollister scored 15 points along with five assists and Carter Colombe scored 13 points along with seven rebounds. Keith Cook was another key contributor, scoring three points along with five rebounds.
Ada has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won nine of their last ten games, which provided a nice bump to their 12-2 record this season. As for Destiny Christian, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 12-7.
Ada will be playing at home against Idabel at 8:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The matchup should be an exciting one, as these teams are ranked near one another in Oklahoma (Idabel is ranked 40th, while Ada is ranked 53rd). Destiny Christian won't have much time to rest: their next match is against Ardmore at 11:30 a.m. on January 20th.
