Baseball Recap: St. Thomas More Comes Up Short

It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact St. Thomas More can now relate to. They took a 12-9 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Jesuit Blue Jays on Tuesday. The Cougars were not able to repeat the success they had when they faced the Blue Jays earlier this season, when they won 5-0.

St. Thomas More's defeat dropped their record down to 25-9. As for Jesuit, the win was the third in a row for them, bringing their record up to 27-11-1.

The teams didn't have to wait long for a rematch: St. Thomas More beat the Blue Jays by a score of 2-1 later that day.
