Southwest Florida Christian won the last time they faced Evangelical Christian and things went their way on Thursday too. The King's walked away with a 3-1 victory over the Sentinels.

The win didn't come easy: Evangelical Christian scored at least 19 points in every set. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-19, 25-27, 25-23, 25-23.

Gigi Noah paced Southwest Florida Christian's offense, picking up 19 kills. Noah got some help from Joy Youngblood and her 22 assists. Lee Stabler controlled things from the service line, finishing with five aces.

Evangelical Christian's loss came despite strong showings from Olivia Holt and Reese Pool. Holt had six aces and five digs, while Pool had four digs and four aces. Holt has been hot, having also posted 13 or more assists the last six times she's played.

Southwest Florida Christian's victory bumped their record up to 8-4. As for Evangelical Christian, the defeat snapped their winning streak at four games and leaves them with a 9-3 record.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Southwest Florida Christian will take on North Fort Myers at 7:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Evangelical Christian, they will host Community School of Naples at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The Seahawks will roll in looking for their fourth straight win, something the Sentinels surely won't give up without a fight.
