Soccer Recap: Galt Comes Up Short

Despite a strong season so far, Galt has seen their luck take a bit of a downturn recently. They came up short against the Monterey Trail Mustangs on Friday, falling 4-1.

Galt's goal came courtesy of Christian Gomez, who's now up to six this season.

Galt's loss dropped their record down to 8-4. As for Monterey Trail, their win bumped their record up to 8-6-1.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Galt will venture away from home to take on Amador at 6:30 p.m. on Wednesday. Galt is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 2.9 goals per game this season. As for Monterey Trail, they will head out to square off against Franklin at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
