Addison won the last time they faced Meek and things went their way on Saturday too. The Bulldogs sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 2-1 victory over the Tigers.

Ava Bartlett paced Addison's offense, picking up 17 kills. Bartlett got some help from Annabeth Powell and her 21 assists.

Addison is on a roll lately: they've won seven of their last nine matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 24-13 record this season. As for Meek, their defeat ended a three-match streak of wins at home and dropped them to 21-20.

Addison wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next contest, a 2-0 loss against Winston County on the 11th. As for Meek, they will face off against Cullman Christian at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday.
