Claymont won the last time they faced Malvern and things went their way on Friday too. The Mustangs put the hurt on the Hornets with a sharp 16-2 victory. The result was nothing new for the Mustangs, who have now won five matches by ten runs or more so far this season.

Claymont's win was their fifth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 7-1. Those road victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 15.0 runs over those games. As for Malvern, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 3-4.
