Softball Recap: Constantine Has No Trouble Against Gobles

Constantine never let their opponents score on Thursday. They blew past the Gobles Tigers 13-0. The result was nothing new for the Falcons, who have now won eight contests by seven runs or more so far this season.

Constantine let Jozee Buglione and Olivia Herlein run wild. Buglione went 2-for-3 with four runs, two stolen bases, and one double, while Herlein got on base in all four of her plate appearances with three stolen bases and four runs. That's the most runs Herlein has posted since back in March. Anndee Evans was another key player, getting on base in three of her four plate appearances with one run and one RBI.

Constantine was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .375. That was just more of the same: they've now posted a batting average of .310 or higher in six consecutive matches.

Constantine's victory bumped their record up to 12-2. As for Gobles, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 6-2.

Constantine has already played their next game (against Homer), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. As for Gobles, they have also already played their next contest, a 25-9 win against Kellogg on the 29th.
