Softball Recap: Cary-Grove Takes a Loss

Monday just wasn't the day for Cary-Grove's offense. They fell just short of the Central Rockets by a score of 2-0 on Monday. The match marked the first time this year in which the Trojans were not able to get on the board.

Cary-Grove's loss dropped their record down to 5-10. As for Central, the win got them back to even at 9-9.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Cary-Grove will face off against McHenry at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday. As for Central, they will challenge Dundee-Crown at 4:30 p.m. on Wednesday. The Rockets' pitchers better be ready for this one: the Chargers have averaged an impressive 8.1 runs per game this season.
