Marist pushed their record up to 12-3 with the victory, which was their eighth straight at home. Those home wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored 48 goals over those eight games. As for St. Joseph's Catholic, their victory bumped their record up to 8-1.

Marist took their win against St. Joseph's Catholic in their previous matchup back in March of 2023 by a conclusive 5-1 score. In that contest, the War Eagles amassed a halftime lead of 3-0, an impressive feat they'll look to repeat on Friday.
