Volleyball Recap: Hilton Head Island Comes Up Short

Hilton Head Island and Hanahan squared off in some playoff action on Tuesday, but Hilton Head Island had to settle for second. They took a 3-1 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Hawks. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Seahawks of the 2-0 defeat they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in September of 2024.

Hilton Head Island has also traveled a rocky road recently, having lost three of their last four contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 4-10-1 record this season. As for Hanahan, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 19-17.

Hilton Head Island does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Hanahan, they didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 3-1 victory against Bishop England on the 23rd.
