2021 Girls McDonald's All American Game rosters announced

2018-19 MaxPreps Player of the Year Azzi Fudd headlines 24 honorees.

While the McDonald's All American game will not be played for a second straight year, organizers on Tuesday announced 24 players named to the girls 2020 roster. The players will be honored virtually next month.

The 2021 McDonald's All American honorees join Skylar Diggins, Sabrina Ionescu, Maya Moore and Candace Parker as participants in one of the game's top showcases.

Tuesday's roster announcement includes top-ranked senior prospect and 2018-19 MaxPreps Player of the Year Azzi Fudd of St. John's (Washington. D.C.). Among the other headlining names were 2019-20 MaxPreps All-Americans Sania Feagin of Forest Park (Ga.), Saniya Rivers of Ashley (Wilmington, N.C.), Raven Johnson of Westlake (Atlanta), Aaliya Moore of Moore (Okla.), Jersey Wolfenbarger of Northside (Fort Smith, Ark.) and Payton Verhulst of Bishop Miege (Shawnee Mission, Kan.).

The University of South Carolina is the biggest beneficiary of the selections with four All-Americans. Other colleges with multiple selections: Connecticut and Texas, with three each, and USC, Stanford, Georgia and North Carolina, each with two.



Guards Rori Harmon and Kyndall Hunter are teammates at Cypress Creek (Houston) and will be next fall at the University of Texas.

The Girls McDonald's All-American Game debuted in 2002 and was played every year until last year, when it was canceled due to the pandemic.
