Flag Football Game Preview: Manual Thunderbolts vs. George Washington Patriots

The Manual Thunderbolts will face off against the George Washington Patriots at 12:30 p.m. on Saturday. Both squads will be entering this one on the heels of a big victory.

Manual's defense heads into the game hoping to repeat the dominance they displayed on Thursday. They breezed past Thomas Jefferson to the tune of 54-0. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Thunderbolts.

Meanwhile, George Washington blew past Denver West, posting a 42-6 victory.

George Washington didn't go easy on the quarterback and picked off five passes before the game was over. It was a group effort, with five picking up one apiece. Zoey Kelin is on a roll when it comes to interceptions, as she's now snagged at least one in each of the last five games she's played. Brooke Hunter got in on the action too, converting a pick into a touchdown.

George Washington's win bumped their record up to 9-6. As for Manual, their victory bumped their record up to 13-2.

Manual strolled past George Washington in their previous meeting back in September by a score of 15-0. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Thunderbolts since the team won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
