Basketball Game Preview: Ogden Tigers vs. Canyon View Falcons

The Ogden Tigers will take on the Canyon View Falcons at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday. Given that the two teams suffered a loss in their last games, they both have a little extra motivation heading into this contest.

Last Wednesday, Ogden came up short against Mountain Crest and fell 58-48. The Tigers have struggled against the Mustangs recently, as the game was their fourth consecutive lost matchup.

Ogden's loss came about despite a quality game from Jackson Maw, who went 8-for-16 en route to 19 points and five rebounds. The team also got some help courtesy of Ryan Kirkland, who posted eight points and seven boards.

Canyon View had taken Pine View down for two straight games at home, but that winning streak came to an end on Tuesday. The Falcons took a 61-44 bruising from the Panthers.

Canyon View's defeat dropped their record down to 1-4. As for Ogden, their loss dropped their record down to 1-1.
