Basketball Recap: Hershey Panthers vs. St. Patrick's Irish
Hershey had lost five straight on the road dating back to last season, but on Saturday they dropped down to 0-3 to make it six. They fell 64-52 to the St. Patrick's Irish. The Panthers were not able to make up for their defeat to the Irish from their previous meeting back in February.
Despite the loss, Hershey still got an impressive performance from Houston Hill, who went 5-for-12 en route to 20 points and eight rebounds. Ryan Murphy was another key player, dropping a double-double with ten points and ten boards.
As for St. Patrick's, they now have a winning record of 3-2. Winning may never get old, but they sure are getting used to it with their third in a row.
St. Patrick's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Peyton Kramer, who posted 15 points in addition to seven rebounds and three blocks. Hershey will look to takes advantage of their home court for the first time this season as they takes on Kimball at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. The Panthers will need to watch out since the Longhorns have now posted at least 55 points every time they've taken the court this season. As for St. Patrick's, they will be home for the holidays to greet Ogallala at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
