Creekside entered their tilt with Lake Nona on Friday with two consecutive wins, and they'll enter their next game with three. They walked away with a 2-0 victory over the Lions. The Knights were shut out 2-0 the last time they took on the Lions, so the Knights were just returning the favor.

Brayden Carroll paced Creekside's offense, picking up six kills. Carroll got some help from Andrew Bennie and his 15 assists. Bennie was also solid from the service line: he led the team with three aces.

Despite the loss, Lake Nona still got an impressive performance from Jonathan Mckenna, who had 12 digs. Mckenna is on a roll when it comes to digs, as he's now had 12 or more in each of the last six games he's played. Guilherme Farias also deserves some recognition as he served his first aces of the season.

Creekside's win bumped their record up to 8-1. As for Lake Nona, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost four of their last five matches. That's put a noticeable dent in their 4-5 record this season.

Creekside didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 2-1 victory against Cardinal Gibbons on the 4th. As for Lake Nona, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next contest, a 2-1 defeat against Southwest on the 4th.
