Basketball Game Preview: East Moline Christian Eagles vs. First Baptist Christian Knights

The East Moline Christian Eagles will face off against the First Baptist Christian Knights at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. East Moline Christian's offense hasn't had much luck over their past four games, but Tuesday's contest will give them a chance to turn things around.

East Moline Christian came into their game on Friday off a hard-fought close win, but unfortunately suffered a serious change of fortune. They were outmatched by Morning Star Academy and fell 45-13. The Eagles were already down big by the end of the third quarter and they stayed that way after failing to score in the fourth.

Meanwhile, First Baptist Christian waltzed into their matchup on Friday with six straight wins... but they left with seven. They were the clear victor by a 38-15 margin over the Flames. The Knights' offense stepped up their game for this one, as that was the most points they've scored all season.

First Baptist Christian's victory bumped their record up to 7-3. As for East Moline Christian, their defeat dropped their record down to 3-12.

East Moline Christian didn't have too much breathing room in their contest against First Baptist Christian in their previous meeting back in December of 2023, but they still walked away with a 12-8 win. Will East Moline Christian repeat their success, or does First Baptist Christian have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
