Troy and Holy Cross squared off in some playoff action on Saturday, but Troy had to settle for second. They fell to the Holy Cross Crusaders 72-68. The Trojans' defeat signaled the end of their 17-game winning streak.

Troy's loss dropped their record down to 20-3. As for Holy Cross, they are on a roll lately: they've won ten of their last 11 contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 23-4 record this season.
