The Las Cruces Bulldawgs will square off against the Atrisco Heritage Academy Jaguars at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Expect the scorekeeper to be kept busy: if their previous games are any indication, these teams will really light up the scoreboard.

On Monday, Las Cruces made easy work of Da Vinci and carried off a 90-67 win. The Bulldawgs pushed the score to 70-49 by the end of the third, a deficit the Dragons had little chance of recovering from.

Meanwhile, you're bound to get a positive result if you outscore your opponent every quarter and that's exactly how it played out for Atrisco Heritage Academy on Tuesday. They walked away with a 78-69 victory over Eldorado. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Jaguars.

Las Cruces better keep an eye on Rashaud Morris. He was instrumental in Atrisco Heritage Academy's win, going 12-for-30 on his way to 46 points. What's more, Morris posted four boards, the most he's had since back in December of 2024. Another player making a difference was Deon Session, who had six points along with nine rebounds and four steals.

Atrisco Heritage Academy has also opened the season with a perfect 2-0 record. As for Las Cruces, their win bumped their record up to an identical 2-0.
