Baseball Recap: Canterbury Snaps Five-Game Streak of Wins at Home

Canterbury easily dispatched Saint Stephen's Episcopal last Friday, but unfortunately both the margin and the ultimate result were a different story in this one. Canterbury fell just short of the Indian Rocks Christian Eagles by a score of 3-1 on Monday. Having soared to a lofty ten runs in the game before, the Crusaders couldn't push the score so high this time.

Canterbury saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Bode Bouis, who went 1-for-2 with one RBI.

Canterbury's loss ended a five-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 7-4. As for Indian Rocks Christian, their victory bumped their record up to 11-9.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Canterbury will face off against Lakeside Christian at 3:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Indian Rocks Christian, they will take on Clearwater Central Catholic at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday.
