Volleyball Recap: Vestavia Hills Now 3-1 over Last Four Games

Vestavia Hills won the last time they faced Tuscaloosa County, and Lillie Hill did her part to make sure it happened again. The Rebels put the hurt on the Wildcats with a sharp 3-0 win on Wednesday thanks in part to Hill, who had 18 digs and two aces. She has been hot, having posted 11 or more digs the last five times she's played.

Vestavia Hills walked away with the victory (and looked especially good in the third set). The match finished with set scores of 25-16, 25-19, 25-13.

Vestavia Hills has been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 6-3 record this season. As for Tuscaloosa County, they are on a seven-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-6.

After both having extra time off, Vestavia Hills and Thompson will shake off the cobwebs and hit the court against one another at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Tuscaloosa County, they are taking a road trip to face off against Paul W. Bryant at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday.
