Softball Recap: Treasure Coast Takes a Loss

After soaring to 16 runs the game before, Treasure Coast was a bit more limited in their game on Wednesday. They came up short against the John Carroll Catholic Rams, falling 11-1. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Rams this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 8-5 back in March.

Treasure Coast saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Mia La Terra, who scored a run and stole a base while going 3-for-3.

Treasure Coast has also been struggling recently as they've lost four of their last five matches. That's put a noticeable dent in their 7-10 record this season. As for John Carroll Catholic, the win was the fourth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 14-4.

Looking ahead, Treasure Coast will head out to face off against Jupiter at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday. As for John Carroll Catholic, they will take on Immokalee in a tournament on Friday.
