Softball Recap: McNary Celtics vs. Westview Wildcats
While McNary put up some runs on Thursday, the same can't be said for Westview. The McNary Celtics walked away with a 4-0 victory over the Westview Wildcats. That result was just more of the same for these two, as McNary also won the last time the pair played back in May of 2023.
Not much got past Ashlyn Wittnebel, who gave up just three hits to keep Westview off the board.
On the hitting side, Ali Martinez was excellent, scoring two runs while going 1-for-2. Karah Miller was another key contributor, scoring a run while going 1-for-3.
McNary has been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four games, which provided a nice bump to their 11-14 record this season. As for Westview, their defeat ended a 19-game streak of wins at home dating back to last season and dropped them to 24-3.
As of now, neither McNary nor Westview have any future games scheduled.
