Sugar-Salem waltzed into their contest on Saturday with 18 straight wins... but they left with 19. They came out on top against the Fruitland Grizzlies by a score of 9-5. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 7-3 on Thursday.

Ben Aldrich made a splash no matter where he played. He tossed four innings while giving up just one earned run off four hits. Aldrich was also solid in the batter's box, going 1-for-3 with one home run and two RBI.

In other batting news, Dawson McInelly was incredible, going a perfect 2-for-2 with one home run and three RBI. Sam Chappell was another key player, going 1-for-2 with one triple and two RBI.

Sugar-Salem was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .409. That was just more of the same: they've now posted a batting average of .304 or higher in 14 consecutive matches.

Sugar-Salem's record now sits at 22-4. As for Fruitland, their defeat dropped their record down to 28-2.
