Volleyball Game Preview: Fremd Vikings vs. Stevenson Patriots

The Fremd Vikings will face off against the Stevenson Patriots at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Fremd is coming into the match hot, having won their last six games.

Fremd is on a roll after a high-stakes playoff matchup on Thursday. They walked away with a 2-0 win over Lake Zurich.

The victory didn't come easy: Lake Zurich scored at least 18 points in every set. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-20, 25-18.

Meanwhile, Stevenson was able to grind out a solid win over Hersey on Thursday, taking the game 2-0. The victory continues a trend for the Patriots in their matchups with the Huskies: they've now won four in a row.

Stevenson's win came from a few key players Fremd will need to keep an eye on. One of the most notable was Jane Tan, who had 13 assists and three digs. Another player making a difference was Lexi Randle El, who had ten digs and two assists.

Stevenson's win bumped their record up to 24-12. As for Fremd, their victory bumped their record up to 28-7.

Fremd beat Stevenson 2-0 when the teams last played back in November of 2024. Do the Vikings have another victory up their sleeve, or will the Patriots turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
