Braden River extended their road winning streak to four games thanks to a huge performance from Anthony Bailey. The Pirates came out on top against the Winthrop College Prep Academy Spartans by a score of 74-65 on Friday with plenty of help from Bailey, who shot 64% from the field to rack up 27 points and three steals. Thanks to that strong game, he now owns an excellent 45.5% shooting accuracy.

Jaron Blanding was another key player, going 7-for-13 en route to 17 points. He continues to improve, besting his previous point total in each of the last three games he's played.

Despite the loss, Winthrop College Prep Academy still got an impressive performance from Jaydon Shannon, who shot 55% from the field on his way to 22 points. The team also got some help courtesy of Meliq Abdullah, who posted nine points.

Braden River's victory bumped their record up to 6-2. As for Winthrop College Prep Academy, the loss snapped their winning streak at three games and leaves them with a 8-5 record.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Braden River and Booker will compete for holiday cheer at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. The Pirates will be up against the Tornadoes' rather soft defense (which has allowed 58.5 points per matchup), so fans could be in store for a big offensive performance. Winthrop College Prep Academy will take on Lennard in a holiday battle at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The Spartans will need to watch out since the Longhorns have now posted at least 55 points in their last three games.
