Preview: Williamsport Millionaires vs. Dallas Mountaineers
The Williamsport Millionaires will be home for the holidays to greet the Dallas Mountaineers at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Williamsport is still on the hunt for that elusive first 'W'.
Williamsport's 18-6 record from last season is now well into the rear view mirror after another tough outing. They fell to Pottsville 43-37. The result shouldn't come as a shock considering that's the fewest points Williamsport has scored all season.
Meanwhile, things could have been worse for Dallas, but they could have been a whole lot better as they took a 57-39 loss to Scranton on Wednesday. While losing is never fun, Dallas can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Pennsylvania basketball rankings (they are ranked 210th, while Scranton is ranked 24th).
Williamsport's loss dropped their record down to 0-5. As for Dallas, their defeat dropped their record down to 3-3.
