Basketball Recap: Oaks Comes Up Short

It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact Oaks can now relate to. The contest between them and the Escambia Academy Cougars didn't end well, with the Oaks The Mighty Oaks falling 60-46. While losing is never fun, the The Mighty Oaks can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Alabama basketball rankings (they are ranked 408th, while the Cougars are ranked 80th).

Oaks is on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 12-9. As for Escambia Academy, the win (which was their 16th in a row) raised their record to 22-2.

As of now, neither Oaks nor Escambia Academy have any future games scheduled.
