Basketball Preview: Glenrock Herders vs. Moorcroft Wolves
Glenrock is 6-1 against the Wolves since January of 2020, and they'll have a chance to extend that success on Saturday. The Glenrock Herders are on the road again and plays the Moorcroft Wolves at 12:00 p.m. on February 3rd. Both teams took a loss in their last game, so they'll have plenty of motivation to get the 'W'.
Last Thursday, Glenrock was the victim of a rough 66-45 loss at the hands of the Outlaws. Glenrock was down 54-31 at the end of the third quarter, which was just too much to recover from.
Meanwhile, Moorcroft's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Saturday after their third straight loss. They took a serious blow against Buffalo, falling 75-29. The loss unfortunately continues a disappointing trend for Moorcroft in their matchups with the Bison: they've now lost three in a row.
Glenrock's loss dropped their record down to 4-6. As for Moorcroft, they dropped their record down to 2-9 with that loss, which was their tenth straight on the road dating back to last season.
Everything came up roses for Glenrock against the Wolves when the teams last played two weeks ago as the squad secured a 79-39 win. The rematch might be a little tougher for Glenrock since the squad won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
