Lockport faced Downers Grove South in a battle between two of the state's top teams on Saturday. The Porters came out on top against the Mustangs by a score of 2-0. The victory was familiar territory for the Porters, who have now won five matchups in a row.

Emma Consigny was the offensive standout of the contest as she had 11 digs and four aces. That's the most digs she has posted over her last nine matches.

Lockport's win bumped their record up to 26-4. As for Downers Grove South, with the loss, they broke their nine-match winning streak and moved their record to 23-6.
